Rep. Malek Selected as Henry Toll Fellow
By
Rep. Sue Malek (D-Missoula) was recently named as one of 48 state leaders to take part in the Toll Fellowship Program sponsored by The Council of State Governments.
The seminar, named after Colorado Senator Henry Toll, seeks to develop the next generation of leaders from all three branches of government. This year’s program focuses on trends analysis, policy development, media and constituent relations and leadership and institutional changes. The program is designed to give leaders perspectives they would not ordinarily obtain during the course of their regular governmental service.
Rep. Malek joins leaders from all branches of government and 42 states in this year’s program. Past Toll Fellowship graduates include governors, US Senators and Members of Congress, as well as leaders in state government.
