Honoring Our History
By WesslerRep. Francis Bardanouve served as a representative in the Montana House for 1959 to 1993. A bill introduced by Democratic Sen. Dave Wanzenried would honor him and his service by naming the first floor of the east wing of the Capitol building after him.
During his 18 terms in the legislature, Rep. Bardanouve was a leader in modernizing our legislative process, and a champion for our state’s hospitals.
In addition, Rep. Bardanouve was a true statesman. He constantly sought to go beyond partisanship, and instead work towards progress for Montana.
Renaming this wing of the Capitol is a fitting tribute, to a great Montanan.

"We believe that the current budget, heading to the Senate Floor next week, unnecessarily pits Montanans against, creating winners and losers”
